Genny’s Green Special Edition illuminated the MCFW catwalk. Sara Cavazza Facchini, Creative Director of the prêt-à-porter Maison Genny, continues her commitment to fashion’s sustainable development, creating a very special spring-summer 2018 collection This selection is made with eco-fabrics born from the collaboration with the company Taroni, according to the Greenpeace Detox campaign and in accordance with the strict requirements of the GOTS certificate - Global Organic Textile Standards. As woman and mother, even before joining Genny, Sara Cavazza Facchini has always been personally committed to projects related to sustainability. This is a path that started with joining Fashion4Development in September 2015, and continued with the creation of the value label, immediately translated into concrete actions. Under her artistic direction, Maison Genny has increased their commitment to reducing the environmental impact in every single step of the production process. The sustainable approach, in Sara Cavazza Facchini’s vision, should involve the entire production chain: from the creativity to the organisational model.
