AltaRoma and ICE Agenzia presented Showcase, a new project dedicated to emerging Italian brands established for less than ten years, which will be held in Rome in conjunction with the fashion week.
The aim of this new initiative was to put brands and new designers into direct contact with potential buyers, the press, and operators within the industry, to increase their visibility and promote their image, favouring B2B encounters, thus creating concrete business opportunities even on the international front.
With the Showcase project we widened target of support to include many worthy young designers, to favour, above all, contact opportunities with potential national and international buyers, who, in ever increasing numbers, are responding to our proposals in search of the new. In this manner, the role AltaRoma has carved out for itself within the Italian fashion system, as a hub of creativity and young talent, has been consolidated, thanks also to the efforts of its Members and the Ministry for Economic Development.
The finalists, selected by the ICE Agenzia and AltaRoma through a public competition, have been offered the chance to participate, cost free, in the Showcase project and to benefit from all the services and opportunities that this type of show offers, above all in terms of promotion and business development.
Here are the names of the brands/designers selected for this first edition of Showcase: 16 R, Casamadre, Gilberto Calzolari, Alessandra Giannetti, Noshi, Anna Porcu, Benedetta Bruzziches, Frenzlauer, Luisa Tratzi e Trenta7; Morfosis, Aroma 30, A-Lab Milano, Quattromani, Co.Ro., Delirious, Pugnetti Parma, The Dots, Bams e Lamperti Milano; Greta Boldini, Asciari Milano, Angelia Ami, Silvio Betterelli, Flaminia Barosini, Gaetano Pollice, Maria Lamanna, Supermarket Bag, Manfredi Manara e Anniee, infine, Italo Marseglia, Nadiamari, Avaro Figlio, Edithmarcel, Isla Fontaine, 011eyewear, Visone, Woobag, Demanumea e Susana Traca Milano.
