Atelier Sangalli, Haute Couture made in Milano

It was 1952 when Maria Sangalli opened the first Sangalli tailor's workshop. Now his nephew Federico Sangalli is the creative soul of one of the historical signatures of Milanese haute couture, of that ancient and ever new dream made up of tailoring and high craftsmanship that every time is sublimated into masterpieces of timeless style. Crossing the entrance of his boutique-atelier, one feels thrown back in time, finally immersed in the atmosphere of the golden age of Italian haute couture that in the fifties moved its first steps in opposition to the undisputed dominance of Paris. Between pedal sewing machines, the glorious tradition is renewed and, of course, it finds new ways to express itself, the streets of our time, yet it never shuts off that patina of antan so suggestive and full of emotions and memories.

In fact, the sartorial dimension remains intact, in which all the creative process is carried out, rigorously handcrafted and made to measure, just as it once was. Here, thanks to the talent of Federico Sangalli, a demanding and cosmopolitan clientele finds an answer to his desires that loves the potential that high fashion offers with its complex and wonderful work, able to tell a timeless story among evening dresses, from ceremony and wedding, in a riot of precious fabrics and precious embroideries and decorations that represent the true Italian luxury, from generation to generation.
