Paris Haute Couture SS 2017, Christian Dior

"Fashion is a ballet, is water spray in the Park, the most sublime elegance intuitive orchestra" liked to say Christian Dior and Maria Grazia Chiuri, at her second trial as creatve director of a haute couture collection signed by Dior.

In this spring/summer 2017 collection the italian fashion designer is inspired by the lightness and femininity that always mark the style Dior, without renouncing at some coupe de theatre decidedly daring, just as sudden and haunting notes of that sublime orchestra mentioned by Christian Dior.

Rigour and experimentation are at the unison in this collection from the perfect architecture, what with style and good taste, proving once again the great talent of the Roman couturier that, after long experience from Valentino, unleash all her imagination and creativity to respect the great House's cult giving to the, at the same time, her personal touch.

The collection is bold and feminine and it alternates ladylike clothes to other more strong and wise, in a successful attempt to capture the widest range of possible clients around the world. On the catwalk versatile garments enhanced also by individual details, carefully designed to make the most of the message of each garment that is an hymn to a refined modernity that flirts with the past and the future, in a happy game of references that mark a new era in high fashion signed Dior.
