Paris Haute Couture SS 2017, Ulyana Sergeenko

The beautiful and young russian couturier Ulyana Sergeenko has ambition and an iron that will help her in a few years to change her life, from socialite to fashion designer. Now, back in Paris, launches a hauete couture spring/summer collection 2017 where the Gothic-Russian makes a splash in the avantgarde and experimentation to give to the world an image of itself entirely renewed and contemporary.

The russian  babushka, with her dresses with wide volumes and outwera like jacket masterfully realized, are the protagonists of this iconic and brilliant collection that allows the couturier to pay homage to her land showing to the world how much has evolved and changed over these years.

Her creations seem to want to just tell the story of this evolution and, departing from tradition, space then in the Western world, without denying her stylistic connotations that much like in Russia at her rich clients, but fishing from another tradition in order to enrich her culture to make it more universal and interesting also for european and american clients.

So, the Great Mother Russia life in all its glory, but with a new appeal thanks the talents of a designer who really loves women and wants to make them beautiful with her clothes often characterized by an aristocratic allure.
